Automotive & Internal Combustion Engines one of the most important of this programs because of the accelerated development in the field of this program specially in diagnosis of faults , troubleshooting and maintenance of vehicles and engines , in addition to the program concerns  in updated injection system of both petrol and diesel engines  using computerized system in diagnosis and maintenance in developed modern technology of vehicles are used in this program, its importance in training the graduates who will be unique and to be updated and efficient for the social needs and in the transportation sector which consider one of the main support of the national economic.

يهدف التخصص الى تخريج فنيين مؤهلين علميا وفنيا للقيام بدور رئيسي في رفع مستوى مهنة فني ميكانيك السيارات من خلال اعداد الطلبة بالعلوم الأساسية في مجال الميكانيك عموما وميكانيك السيارات بشكل خاص، وتعزيز قدرات ومهارات الطلبة في تصميم وتحليل الأنظمة الميكانيكية والحرارية باستخدام المبادئ الهندسية وكذلك القدرة على تنفيذ المشاريع ضمن فريق عمل مختص ومتجانس.
