The Digital Systems Engineering / Dual Studies (DSE-DS) program is designed in response to the local market's demand for qualified professionals capable of working with advanced systems in technological, industrial, and production sectors. Offered as one of the specialized tracks within the College of Dual Studies at Palestine Polytechnic University, the program enhances students' skills and competencies through an educational model that integrates academic learning with hands-on training in relevant institutions, ensuring strong readiness for the labor market.
The program prepares engineers with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in areas such as engineering design, computerized and automated control, digital systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, and the design and programming of intelligent systems for industry. This aligns with the evolving needs of Industry 4.0 and 5.0, combining mechanical and electrical engineering foundations with digital technologies.
Program Duration: 4 years (8 academic semesters)
Credit Hours: 172 hours
Target Group: High school graduates – scientific, industrial streams, or equivalent
