تهدف جامعة بوليتكنك فلسطين من وراء تأسيس هذا البرنامج الى النهوض بالعملية التعليمية في تخصصات كلية الطب وعلوم الصحة  إلى أعلى مستوياتها وصولاً إلى أفضل المعايير العالمية في هذا الجانب المتعلق في علوم طب وجراحة الفم والاسنان الذي تفتقدة محافظات الجنوب ومحافظة الخليل بشكل خاص كما تهدف الجامعة الى تأمين مستوى عالي من التدريب السريري في تخصص أمراض وجراحة اللثة وجراحة زراعة الأسنان، وتأمين مستوى عالي من التدريب الميداني في تخصص طب أسنان المجتمع.

Dental Technology: This field is essential for preparing all the materials and devices needed by dental clinics. The primary responsibility of this department is to manufacture dental prostheses—artificial teeth that replace missing or damaged ones—according to the precise measurements and specifications provided by dentists.

The field of Dental Technology has become one of the most critical areas within dentistry. Graduates of this program are known as Dental Technologists.

The Medical Laboratory Sciences program (MLS) at Palestine Polytechnic University stands out among similar programs in other Palestinian universities due to its affiliation with the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. يعتبر تخصص البصريات أحد أهم أركان العلوم التقنية المساندة لطب العيون. حيث يقوم فني البصريات بتقديم مهارات ضرورية لتقديم الخدمات المتعلقة بالنظارات والعدسات اللازمة للعيون من خلال مهارات اكتسبها خلال الدراسة و من خلال حزم تدريسية عالية المستوى في الفيزياء الحيوية و فيزياء العيون والقدرة على استخدام اجهزة القياس الشائعة و الالمام بالاعمال الادارية والتسويقية المتعلقة بالعدسات النظارات  تصنيعا وتسويقاً.
