It plays a pivotal role in enhancing our health and environmental conditions, particularly in the realms of food production and quality improvement, as well as the advancement of technological industries reliant on living organisms.

Applied Mathematics - Minor Applied Statistics and Data Analysis

In alignment with the vision of Palestinian higher education to meet the evolving needs of society and the local and regional markets, and in response to the advancements in both governmental and private institutions, as well as the growth of the private sector and its enterprises, there is an increased demand for scientific planning utilizing modern tools. This necessitates the collection and analysis of information through scientifically sound methods to understand the current reality, derive insights, and make informed predictions.

Applied Biology Minor Chemistry

This program caters to the demands of institutions, pharmaceutical companies, food industries, and diverse research centers by producing applied biology graduates equipped with comprehensive scientific and technical expertise. Our graduates possess knowledge in general chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, industrial chemistry, food chemistry, and other relevant fields, alongside their proficiency in applied biology. Furthermore, it addresses the need for educators in various science subjects within schools.

 

Applied Mathematics/ Minor Physics

A graduate of this program possesses the potential to secure employment in both the private sector and the Ministry of Education, excelling as a distinguished teacher in mathematics and physics. Furthermore, this program provides opportunities for advanced academic endeavors in both mathematics and physics. It's noteworthy that physics embodies the practical application of mathematics and is even classified as a branch of applied mathematics, enhancing the capabilities of physicists, especially in the domain of theoretical physics.

Applied Mathematics/ Minor Computer

With advancements in science impacting various facets of life, the integration of computer technologies has become essential, including applied mathematics. Computers play a pivotal role in comprehending mathematics, particularly in engineering applications, simplifying tasks such as area and volume calculations. Mathematical software and tools like Matlab, Mathematica, Maple, among others, are instrumental in applications across diverse fields, easing work processes in physics, engineering across its branches, industrial sectors, and beyond.
