Bachelor's Programs

Computer Science

In response to the increasing use of computers and software in Palestinian society and the demand for skilled professionals in various computer and information technology fields, the College of Applied Sciences began offering the "Computer Science" program in the academic year 2002/2003. Since inception, the program has been incorporated into the College of Information Technology and Computer Engineering. The curriculum of this program encompasses essential areas of computer science, such as databases, software engineering, algorithms, and computer networks.

Computer Engineering

This program was established in 1990, making it the first of its kind in the Arab world at Palestine Polytechnic University. It was introduced in response to the rapid advancements in the computer field and its widespread use, as well as the fast-paced technological revolution happening globally. The curriculum for this program offers students the opportunity to study the computer system comprehensively, covering its fundamental components: hardware and software, in a well-balanced manner.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

A BSN, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, is a four-year degree in nursing that consists of 136 accredited hours related to nursing courses and others. The program involves both coursework and clinical practice. The mission of this program is to improve the public health in the community by empowering it with qualified nursing staff   who acquired the basic skills of scientific research so as to provide safe and effective nursing care to Public and private health sectors in Palestinian community.

 

Human Medicine Specialty

Early in 2018-2019, Human Medicine Program was launched at Palestine Polytechnic University as the first of its kind in the city of Hebron. The program was intended to promote the health and medical education sectors in Palestine in general and in the province in particular. The inception of this pioneering program came in cooperation with the Ministries of Health, Higher Education and Scientific Research. The program’s curriculum has been developed to provide a Doctor of Medicine Degree in total number of (265) Credit Hours.

Communications and Electronics Engineering

This program is the first of its kind among Palestinian universities, as Palestine Polytechnic University initiated offering the program in 2006. The program was introduced to align with the technological advancements in the field of communications and information technology, as effective communication and information transfer became crucial requirements in numerous electronic systems.
